Why Choose Hosted Exchange?
For most businesses today, email is the mission-critical communications tool that allows their people
to produce the best results. This greater reliance on email has increased the number of messages sent
and received, the variety of work getting done, and even the speed of business itself. Amid this change,
employee expectations have also evolved. Today, employees look for rich, efficient access to email,
calendars, attachments, contacts, and more - no matter where they are or what type of device they are
using.
The Rozmic Hosted Exchange service is a hosted enterprise messaging solution based on Microsoft
Exchange Server 2007. Hosted Exchange helps give your business the email security it demands, your
employees the email access they want, and your IT staff the operational efficiency it needs. The
service uses our knowledge of Microsoft products, best practices developed with Microsoft's customers
and partners, and our infrastructure to deliver a world-class, mission-critical service.
High Availability
The Rozmic Hosted Exchange infrastructure uses a mixture of High Availability technologies. All of our servers use one of two approaches - either Network Load Balancing for the Front End Servers, and active/passive CCR (Continuous Cluster Replication) for those that host data - i.e. the actual Mailbox Servers.
Load Balanced Setup
All servers in a Network Load Balancing cluster are active, meaning all are available at all times for processing of data. If a server fails within a cluster, the load is automatically distributed between the other nodes in the cluster.
Cluster Replication
Continuous Cluster Replication clusters are configured as active/passive. Only one node in the cluster is active at any one time, and data in these clusters is automatically copied to the passive node. In the event of a failure of the active node, the passive node is ready to pick up the load.
